Community Health Worker
Our Community Health Worker coordinates health and social services, enroll sickle cell members into the "Get Connected!" patient registry and provides community outreach to improve healthcare.
Sickle Cell Support Group
Sickle Cell Comfort Kits
We have officially launched our new outreach called, Sickle Cell Comfort Kits. Whenever a Warrior is in the hospital, someone from the Patient Care Team at Piedmont Regional Hospitals will provide you with some items that we think could be comforting to you.

Adult Sickle Cell Clinic
Our Sickle Cell Clinic at Valley Healthcare provides specialty care with a hematologist for adult Sickle Cell
patients on the 3rd Friday of each month from 10:00 AM - 3:00 pm. A community healthcare worker is also available on that day. Call
us to schedule your appointment. Bring your ID and Health
Insurance card.
